Vanguard Space Technologies developed its first antenna reflector in 2004 for the TELKOM-2 satellite. Over the last nine years, we have designed, built and shipped more than 70 reflectors, ranging from Single Shell Graphite Reflectors to Nadir Tower Reflectors. With first mode frequencies greater than 80 Hz, surface accuracies of .002 inches RMS and sizes ranging from 0.7 to 2.7 meters, these antenna reflectors have earned an industry-wide reputation for delivering the best surface precision and the lowest mass. They have also met all customer requirements for reflectivity and stability.
Our antenna reflectors, which are used for communications satellites and deep space missions, are produced in a variety of configurations: hyperbolic, parabolic and shaped surfaces.
